Reports state that 37-year-old American national Travis Andrew Wyant was found dead after going missing while on vacation on the island of St. Lucia. His body was recovered from the ocean, according to a statement released by the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force early on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Wyant hails from Georgia’s Grayson.
His family reported him missing on Sunday, July 6 after he was unable to be reached. He was scheduled to depart the island on Monday, but he never returned to his hotel to check out. After Travis missed his trip, they contacted the Saint Lucia Daily Post on Monday evening, July 7.
Family relatives claim that at around 6:00 p.m., Wyant was last seen leaving his hotel at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa in Rodney Bay, Gros Islet.
It is now unknown what happened to Travis Wyant, however the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is looking into what might have caused his death.
