A mother and her two young children must deal with the unthinkable challenge of starting again without their father, Olaf Stieber, who recently died in Milwaukee. The cause of death is yet unknown.
He was a devoted father and Lauren’s devoted spouse. His siblings and parents are currently grieving for a brother and son who were known for their unwavering support, patience, and laughter. May this loss give his family strength.
Olaf’s adventure began in Illinois, where he attended the University of Illinois Chicago to study information decision science, laying the groundwork for a prestigious career in technology. He began his career at Runzheimer as a data analyst and then moved on to Northwestern Mutual as a test engineer, where he was respected for his knowledge and discreet guidance.
I’m hoping to get in touch with the Helpers—those who are driven to lessen the pain and hardship that a stranger is going through.
The lives of Lauren and her children, ages three and six, have been irrevocably altered. Lauren and Olaf, who were only 41, were taking care of their children and making ends meet, just like any other young working parents do. Together, they had created a pleasant and cozy atmosphere for their two kids, a loving house, and successful careers.
Their family has been rocked by Olaf’s untimely and terrible death this week, leaving a young mother to raise and support her children alone with minimal financial support. Being the only provider, Lauren has to deal with a lot of unforeseen difficulties, some of which are thrown at her right away after heartbreak and loss, as well as a lot of unknowable difficulties down the road.
Lauren would be humbled and appreciative if you could and would like to help her and her kids in any way. Any help, whether it be food, gift cards for groceries or meals, or direct financial support, will help her and her kids deal with the many challenges that lie ahead in the wake of Olaf’s passing.
Additionally, please offer up frequent and fervent prayers for Lauren and her kids.
