Kellyanne Lytal among 23 missing girls in Camp Mystic Flood

Kellyanne Lytal in Camp Mystic, Guadalupe River

According to Arleigh Herrington on Facebook: 8-year-old Kellyanne Lytal is one of the 23 girls who had gone missing during the evacuation of Camp Mystic due to flooding.

Following Thursday night, July 3, 2025, the historic flood left Kellyanne and a few other campers missing from cabins. While many were able to find safety in the region, others were unable to do so.

Since no one currently knows where Kellyanne is, her family is fervently hoping for a miracle that she is discovered safe and sound. Kellyanne is a lovely, humorous, and lively person.

”The Guadalupe River rose to near-record depths overnight in Hunt, rising from about 7.5 feet at 1 a.m. Friday to nearly 30 feet by 4:30 a.m.- a 22-foot rise in about three hours. The NWS said they think the river rose higher, but that the gauge was underwater and was no longer reporting data.”

Kellyanne parents have given the general public the permission to share her missing case, they are desperately asking for the public assistance at this time.

If you or anyone you know is in the Kerville/Hunt area helping with rescue searches, please share this post as quick as possible so she can be located.
