The public was notified on Thursday, July 31, 2025, that Eric Darnell, the “black” truck driver who went missing on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 on I-40 in Little Rock, Arizona, had been found dead. The 38-year-old was reportedly discovered hung to a tree, but officials have not yet made much information public, thus it is still unclear what caused his death.
Only social media is used to discuss the Eric case, which could lead to confusion with earlier examples like Javion Magee. It seems like a hearsay that hasn’t been verified. Use caution and double-check information.
What Happened To Eric Darnell
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Eric is a seasoned long-haul driver and a father of four.
Early on Tuesday morning, July 29, he was last saw departing a distribution center south of Phoenix, Arizona. His itinerary was standard: a direct drive to Memphis, Tennessee, where he was to be dropped off. However, he never arrived at his destination.
His wallet was in his truck when it was discovered abandoned in Little Rock, Arkansas, but the keys and logbook were gone. No indication of difficulty.
Authorities and those who wished to help conducted a thorough search at the time of his disappearance, but the outcome was not what anyone had anticipated.
As of yet, no formal confirmation has been released. Investigation continues; provide information to Birmingham Police.
