Blake McCrory, Bellaire TX Girl In Camp Mystic Body Found

Blake McCrory Bellaire TX Found

Following the devastating flash floods that occurred on Friday, July 4th along the Guadalupe River in Camp Mystic and the adjacent areas, Blakely McCrory’s mother, Lindsey, revealed on Tuesday, July 8, 20025, that her daughter had been located and declared dead.

Early on July Fourth morning, Blakely was among the young campers that were washed away. Her life was full of love and joy, but it was far too short. The innumerable people who have followed her tale and kept hope alive over the past few days are now grieving her loss, in addition to those who knew her personally.

When the flash flood occurred, she had only been in the camp for five days.

Her uncle passed away two weeks ago, and her father two months ago. Within two months of becoming an only child, she abandons her mother to mourn the deaths of her brother, husband, and daughter.

While we hoped for a miracle, it has been confirmed that Blakely’s life was lost on the Guadalupe that early morning, along with so many others. And, while we find some comfort in the knowledge that Blakely is happy, safe, and secure in the arms of Jesus, we are beyond shattered and will miss her with every breath we take for the rest of our lives.” her family member shared.

A number of Camp Mystic campers and one staff are still unaccounted for, and search and recovery operations are ongoing.

Please keep all of these families close to your heart and keep sharing and supporting them.
