What Happened To Caleb Reed

Preliminary, it was confirmed that Caleb was diagnosed with aggressive Leukemia/Lymphoma cancer. At the beginning doctors were confident that after very intensive treatment his cancer will be cured but unfortunately he did not make it out.

“A little over a month ago, my cousin Caleb Reed was diagnosed with cancer and yesterday, his fight tragically ended. He was an accomplished athlete, devoted husband, and loving father, but more than that, he was one of the most humble, kind, and caring people you’d know. ” Chad Flowers said on Facebook.

Caled was a loving father to their three sons and a faithful husband to Robin. He graduated from Bayou Academy and was a key member of the Mississippi State Baseball 2011 Super Regional and 2012 SEC Tournament Championship teams. He also served as the Bulldogs’ co-captain.

Over $45,000 has been raised already with $1,500 being the top donation. His family would really appreciate any donations to assist with funeral costs and provide support during this extremely trying time.
