Missing Kite Surfer Graham Howes Found Dead – Cause Of Death

On Monday afternoon, September 8, 2025, Graham Howes, 38, the CEO and Founder of Dirty Habits and Digital Creator, a great person, a creative human being, and a skilled kite surfer, was found dead. According to initial reports on Facebook, he had recently vanished.

After a comprehensive search by air, sea, and along the coastline towards Dassen Island, his body was found on Monday by a local yacht. It was verified by the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) that the kite-surf board and sail had been found and recovered from the ocean. The police and Government Health Forensic Pathology Services have taken custody of the deceased’s body.

After failing to come home following an afternoon kiteboarding session at Eden on the Bay, he was reported missing on Sunday evening, September 7.

Graham, who hails from Blouberg Strand and resides in Cape Town, Western Cape, is engaged to Candace Liu.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a black wetsuit and riding a blue and black kiteboard with a white kite sail that was red-marked.

The Cape Town-based “Bianca’s Surf School” is appreciative of all the rescuers and everybody who helped find Graham.

Graham Howes Cause Of Death

Authorities are beginning an inquiry into the cause of his death, which remains unknown.
