Friends and family have taken notice of the death of 42-year-old Sarena Harrison, a member of the Coeur d’Alene School District. Sarena, who vanished from Kootenai County on Saturday, June 28, 2025, has been discovered dead.
The Shoshone County Sheriff’s found Serena Harrison’s white 2011 GMC Acadia, Idaho Plate K351438, on Monday, June 30 at around 1600 hours. About 16 miles up the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River, the car was parked on a forest service road. Serena was discovered dead inside the car.
Sarena Harrison Missing Report
At around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, Sarena was last seen in Hayden, Idaho. The public was urged to assist in getting her home safely after a missing person’s report was made public, but the outcome was not what anyone had anticipated.
Sarena had a profound impact on the lives of many people in her school and district communities and was a cherished part of the Atlas Elementary School family.
“With heartfelt sympathy, we extend our deepest condolences to Sarena’s husband, children, and all who knew and loved her. She will be much missed by us all.” CDA schools said on Facebook.
The cause of Sarena’s death is still being investigated. Once verified, more information will be released to the public.
