JSU Student Missing: James Nichols

James Nichols, a student at Jacksonville State University, is said to have left campus early on Thursday, August 28th, and was last seen in New York on Friday, August 29.

On Tuesday, September 2, the disappearance was reported, and the case has since been added to the national database. In an effort to locate him, authorities are collaborating with New York law enforcement 24/7.

A blue, four-door 1999 Chevrolet Malibu (AL tag 11AEM5U) carrying James of Ohatchee, Alabama, drove off campus early the previous day.

According to Jacksonville State University, the car was last seen heading north on Hwy 431 in Glencoe at around three in the morning on August 28. It was then seen more than fifteen hours later in Pawling, New York, on Friday, August 29.

Right now, his family and the university are quite worried about his safety. The last time we heard from him was more than a week ago.

The public is being asked by his family to help them in any way they can.
