According to the classification, the girl who was shot at the Jewel Dope Spot on Roosevelt over a juice bottle complication is 17 years old. The victim was shot in the right thigh at 1224 S. Wabash. Tourniquets were administered at 22:36, and she was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition by Ambo 41 at 22:38.
The shooter, a Black woman with the first name Raven Seymone Aikens, is confirmed by police to be employed as a security guard at Jewel Osco.
Juice was thrown at the security guard before she shot the 17-year-old, according to on-scene sources.
During the incident, it was reported that the security guard in question was dressed entirely in gray. After the event, she took off in a black pickup. After the first gunshot, the car might have been traveling west on Roosevelt.
As they continue their investigation into the gunshot event, police are using tape to secure the location.
In order to help in the investigation of the grocery store shooting, police are organizing more units.
