Joshua Jahn has reportedly been identified as the shooter responsible for the sniper attack that executed one immigrants and injured another at the Dallas ICE headquarters in Texas. Later, he was discovered dead on the roof of an immigration lawyer’s building in the area, having shot himself.
The shooting at the ICE detention center in Dallas, Texas, has been categorized as targeted violence by the FBI. The shooting occurred on Wednesday, September 24, before 7am local time. “Anti-ICE” was inscribed on one of the shell casings that were discovered to be unspent.
Along with the Dallas Police Department and state authorities, the FBI, DHS, and ATF were on the scene.

ANTIFA and communist images may be seen in his profile photo from his now-deleted Facebook page, according to the results of the background check. An armed communist holding a sickle and hammer is depicted in the profile picture.
“These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off. We are only miles from Prarieland, Texas where just two months ago an individual ambushed a separate ICE facility targeting their officers. It has to end and the FBI and our partners will lead these investigative efforts to see to it that those who target our law enforcement are pursued and brought to the fullest extent of justice.” FBI Director Kash Patel said on X.
Although the inquiry is still underway, a preliminary analysis of the evidence points to an idealogical motivation for the attack.
Fortunately, no police officers suffered any injuries. Remember to pray for the deceased and injured victims.
