8-year-old Hadley Hanna, a camper at Camp Mystic from the Dallas area, has been found and did not survive the flash flooding that struck Camp Mystic in Kerr County, Texas, on Friday, July 4, 2025. Hadley was taken far too soon in a tragedy that has shaken families and communities to their core.
The Guadalupe River rose swiftly overnight, washing through the campgrounds snatching Hadley and other beautiful youngsters away.
Hadley Hanna was a bright eight-year-old girl who was happy, imaginative, kind, and full of life.
With Hadley’s family’s full support, individuals who care about her have started a GoFundMe to meaningfully and permanently commemorate her memory.
